University of Derby

University of Derby為英國公立大學，創校歷史可以追溯到1851年，前身是一所師範學院，在1992年升級為大學，是一所綜合性的現代化大學。全校共有學生約34,000名，其中包括多於2,000名國際學生。在2025 The Times & the Sunday Times Good University Guide 2026全英名第96名，並在2020年獲得Guardian University Award for Social and Community Impact。大學舉辦了 #ThisIsDerby計劃，合作伙伴有Derby Theatre、Community Trust 的Derby County 及Derby’s Cultural Education Partnership。計劃目標向年青人推廣文化教育及節目，從中培養他們的生活技能、增強自信心、社交技巧及團隊精神。大學更在UK Social Mobility Awards 2020 ─University of the Year 及2020 NEON (National Education Opportunities Network) Awards─ Higher education Institution of the Year取得第一名。
