學校簡介
University of Sheffield成立於1905年，但早於1828年，Sheffield的醫學院已經成立，是當今英國最古老的醫學院。Sheffield是英國研究型大學羅素集團(Russell Group)的成員之一，於The Times & The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2026排名第13名，亦在2026年 QS世界大學排名 2026第92名。大學多年來吸引了世界上最優秀的人才，孕育了6個諾貝爾獎得獎者。其學生會被Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey選為最好的大學學生會。大學現有大約30,000名學生，國際學生佔全校的33%。近年，大學耗資2100萬英鎊興建新的工程學院，學生宿舍及學生會設施。
